Narrative: He was born in Colombia near Bogota. This part of the country is quite mountainous and it was there in the mountains that Hilachas was foaled, having been bred by Senor E. Vargas. He was very dark bay, with a beautiful head and conformation.
His sire was Zipa and his dam was Muneca de VI.
He produced many champions, many grand champions, Champion of Champions, all too numerous to name individually. His babies were shown in all categories of classes: classic fino, performance and pleasure.
In addition to the reproductive quality of this stallion, he was also renowned for his intelligence.
As a Foundation Sire, Hilachas met all criteria. He and his descendants have won the Get of Sire and Produce of Dam Classes many, many times. He and his descendants have been placed on the Top Ten Sires and Dams lists many, many times.
