Narrative: The Fourth Resorte, made his name in the show rings of Colombia. His competition
included two other of the most famous forefathers of the Paso Fino today, namely Bochica and
Contrapunto. In 1983 in Bogota, he competed and won against both.
His ability to pass the best of his genes to his progeny, is the lasting factor of Resorte IV, which can be
seen in his descendants now in the show rings. The performance of controlled fire, fino gait and
wonderful presentation of this line continues therein. But in addition, most noteworthy, is that quality of
willingness and disposition. Resorte IV could be ridden by anyone.
In 1984 he competed and won a Champion of Champions class against Bochica in a fabulous work off
of these two stallions, who both previously won the "Fuera con Curso", a title given in Colombia to
those horses who win ten Grand Championships and were therefore "Out of Contest". After the Fuera
con Curso designation, the only competition these horses enter are the Champion of Champions clas
